Download Images in Fillable PDF
I am trying to add a button that will allow the people I send it to to upload an image. I don't have any problems creating the button but can't make it so that when the form is emailed back to me I can download the image attached. Any thoughts?

Historic Forms from the 1940s Data Collection?
I took a sample of a few hundred scanned images (converted to PDF) of a standardized form filled out in the 1940s (by typewriter with decent OCR) is there a way I can use forms to collect the information from these already filled out paper forms?
The forms, collected from the US National Archives, are a sample of a larger collection done by one of the New Deal agencies. While my sample sizes is relatively small and it would be possible to manually enter the data presented on the forms I have, the collection is actually just more substantial. A comparison that might be more familiar would be a long-form US Census, because there are standard positions on the page for specific pieces of information (names, family size, gender, occupation, etc.) about the people that were being surveyed. Would it be possible to somehow tell the Adobe the location of specific information and then have it insert it into a spreadsheet where I could then manipulate the data statistically?

How do we generate .FDF files in Acrobat Pro DC?
Previously, using earlier versions of Acrobat Pro, we were able to produce .FDFs of our .PDF forms. FDFs are obligatory for our process.
I have searched through the Pro DC interface we are using now, but cannot find anything that will generate .FDFs.
Has this been removed from Pro DC?

hi all,
am new to this forum.
am from india, while working on MCA forms for a particular form am getting this error message. please help ASAP.

suitable font for ISO-8859-8 encoding."
As per MCA we need to us use only Adobe XI only not adobe DC.

"Submit form" to SharePoint
Is it possible to change the "Submit form" button?
Actually Adobe Acrobat sends only the data (an XFDF file) to SharePoint.
In the responses in SharePoint I've 2 problems:
1) The response can't be opened in SharePoint, if you don't have the PDF Form saved on your PC. Specially when someone uses a tablet it's impossible.
Isn't it possible that Adobe Acrobat send the PDF file/form and not only the data?
2) The name of the file doesn't say anything.
Isn't it possible that in the response the file name is composed a) the date and b) the e-mail-address of the sender?

Acrobat 9 the fileopen manager service is not running. How can i get this to run?
I am running Acrobat 9 Pro however 'the FileOpen manager service is not running' window pops up. After clicking ok, the pdf open for about 5 seconds then close. Help please?

How to combine multiple PDFs with form data WITHOUT flattening pdfs OR changing form names?
We have thousands of forms that need combined into a single PDF. We simply do not have the time to rename all of the forms in each document, or flatten every PDF. Is there a fix for this? All of the information in our forms end up being blank after combining them.
It is extremely odd because my boss was saying this was not an issue before, but it is now.
It never came up with this dialogue box saying the following until today:
"Any form fields that have the same name in the merged documents are now merged into one field. If you want the values in these fields to be unique, then you need to create a PDF portfolio instead of merging the files. To create a PDF Portfolio, choose File > Create PDF Portfolio."
As far as we know, Acrobat didn't update. We really need a fix for this. I was thinking maybe creating a custom action to flatten would help make this process go faster? Or I was reading that there maybe a javascript fix for this to batch flatten them all at the same time?

Emailing completed forms
I have Adobe FIll & Sign on an iPad. I'm trying to get it so that when people fill out the forms I've made, in person, on the iPad, it will email those completed/signed forms to my email address. I tried filling out the form then hitting the box with an arrow at the bottom right - it doesn't seem to work.
How do I get it to email the completed forms?

I cannot open/print pdf documents. I get error 1014 telling me there is a problem with Adobe Acrobat Reader. I am running windows 10 and (no Creator updated yet) and Windows 10 Email program.
I am running Windows 10 (no Creators update yet on mine). I use Window 10 email program/app. I have Acrobat DC downloaded, version 17.009.20044 I cannot open/print .pdf documents any more. I get this error message "There is a problem with Adobe Acrobat Reader 1014;1014) Does anybody have the same problem and how to fix it? Thank you, Maja

Unable to sign document
I am trying to sign the signature field of a document in Adobe Acrobat Reader DC. I've looked at the properties of the document and it has Signatures marked as Allowed, and I have been able to fill in all other parts of the form; however, when I try to sign the document, using the "Fill and Sign" option of the right-hand pane, it says "You have opened a fillable PDF form. This form does not let you drag and drop saved information." and then gives me two options: "Send & Track" or "Get Others to Sign". I have tried downloading the practice document from the Adobe website and I have been able to sign this with no problems, so I don't believe it to be an issue with the software, but I just can't work out why I am having such difficulty with this particular document! Thanks in advance.
